Concept of the series “Where Walls Bloom”

“Where Walls Bloom” is an urban series where the city is no longer a backdrop — it becomes a living organism, undergoing inner transformations. Architecture turns into a metaphysical being: it breathes, pulses, blooms with cacti, and breaks through in color.

The visual system is built on surreal geometry, bold color blocks, rhythmic structures, and levitating elements. Gravity no longer functions as expected — cubes float midair, fabrics morph into biological forms.

Cactus and woman merge into a hybrid being — symbolizing adaptation, vulnerability, and the strength of the urban soul.

Color is a code.
Green = growth and survival.
Fuchsia = sensuality and protest.
Yellow = light and idea.

Cubes defy logic — they serve as visual portals to the absurd and the divine.

“Where Walls Bloom” is not a vision of the future.
It’s a new nature born inside concrete.
Here, cacti wear sunglasses. Women become part of buildings.
The cube — always present, always floating — fractures perception and reality.

These works are painted in oil — but this isn’t realism. It’s a hybrid of the real and the impossible, architectural surrealism encrypted with metaphysical meaning.

Every painting is a mystery.
Every image contains something just beyond form.

This is a series about adaptation.
About survival.
About blooming in the most unnatural conditions.
About the human who became part of the city — and remained alive.

Where Walls Bloom (№1)

🗂 Series: Where Walls Bloom
📐 Medium: Oil on canvas
📏 Size: 60 × 80 cm
📍 Year: 2025

This is not a city. This is a new nature, grown from concrete. Cacti wear sunglasses, walls breathe light, and a cube breaks the rules of reality. You feel there’s something beyond the shape — but you can’t explain it. And that’s why you can’t look away.

She is not just standing among the cacti — she is part of the architecture.
A cactus-woman. A city-woman.
Soft skin against hard structure, reality against color.

This is a metaphor for a new kind of nature: architectural, thorned, independent.
The portal is hidden in her glasses — a spiral, a vortex, another dimension.
Gravity is broken, perspective is unstable, and cacti serve as organic armor in a city of the future.

A world where structure becomes skin,
and color becomes the language of new meaning.
