Cactus Pop Grid

is a series of emotional modules.
In this series, the shape of the cactus becomes a rhythm.
Color becomes breath.
These are simple forms that come together into a visual code.
Each piece is created as part of a series — from one to nine on a canvas, forming a unified structure.

Philosophy of the series:
This series was conceived as a visual practice.
Each cactus represents an emotional state, captured through color.
You can hang one, or assemble your own grid.
This is art that speaks to space through rhythm, repetition, and living color.

Yes, I can draw like in a museum. But now it‘s cacti. Color, pulse, and freedom of form. This is my visual jazz. When the color speaks louder than the shape. It‘s not a cartoon it‘s a condition.

Piotl. Guardian of the Green Silence

      Size: 30×24-1 cm
     Medium: acrylic on canvas
     Year: 2025

“Cactus Pop Grid” is a series of emotional modules.

This work transforms the cactus into a sacred symbol — a guardian between worlds. Bold lines, layered contours, and mystical marks echo the energy of ancient Mesoamerican rituals. Inspired by Piotl, the protective spirit of the cactus in Huichol and Toltec traditions, the vibrant fusion of magenta, lime green, and mint blue speaks of natural power and spiritual vision. A modern relic of silent magic.

     Medium: acrylic on canvas
     Year: 2025

“Cactus Pop Grid” is a series of emotional

This work continues the philosophy of the “Cactus Pop Grid” series, where each cactus represents an emotion and color becomes breath.
In this variation, architectural space is introduced, creating the effect of a “city mirage” — as if the cacti have grown against walls made of light and sand.
Fields of color set the rhythm, while the verticality of the cacti forms visual chords.
It’s a statement about joy, pulse, and the inner strength of simple forms.
The composition plays on the contrast of textures: the smooth silhouettes of the cacti against a grainy, sand-like background.
This work can stand alone or function as part of a modular series.
